Lakers’ LeBron James ripped by John Stockton with stinging criticism of perceived influence

John Stockton, a great with the Utah Jazz, does not like the way LeBron James runs the Los Angeles Lakers. In an interview with DNP-CD Sports, Stockton commented on James’ management approach on the Lakers’ team.
Stockton remarked that it would be frustrating to be a teammate and know that you could be sacrificed for one of the players the coach believes he needs.

In all likelihood, John Stockton is alluding to the numerous midseason roster changes that have occurred on teams captained by LeBron James, with James frequently being viewed as the orchestrator of these moves.

This phenomenon most recently manifested in 2019. LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers traded away a lot of their youthful talent and acquired Anthony Davis from the New Orleans Pelicans that offseason.
