Meet Shohei Ohtani, baseball’s highest ever paid star on $70million salary who lives in a small apartment

The 28-year-old Shohei Ohtani has become a star for the Los Angeles Angels as both a batter and a pitcher, garnering him recognition as a two-time MLB All-Star.

The Japanese slugger will become the highest-paid player in Major League Baseball history thanks to his $70 million fortune.

Shohei, however, is a very humble person away from the field.

He finally got his license a few years ago, and Elon Musk has since praised the hundred thоusand dollars he spent on a Tesla Model X.A three-bedroom apartment close to Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California, is where he is rumored to call home.

Though he has been linked to Hawaiian beauty Kamalani Dung, he has kept his personal life under wraps.

Obviously, baseball is his number one hobby.

CarsBefore relocating to the United States in 2017, Shohei had never been outside of Japan. The prohibitive cost of lessons drove him to instead pursue a career in athletics.

His first order of business after passing the California driving test was to select a vehicle.

He could have bought everything he wаnted with his annual salary of $4 million.

Shohei felt a surge of energy. He settled on a $100,000 Tesla Model X.

After a photo surfaced of the baseball legend pulling up to Angels Stadium in a Tesla, Tesla founder Elon Musk expressed his gratitude on Twitter.

Musk responded with a string of heart emojis to a tweet informing him about Shohei’s initiative.Shohei’s main source of income is from endorsement deals with different companies.

Hugo Boss and Fanatics and Oakley and Panini and Topps and Mitsubishi Bank and Seiko and Kowa are among his personal partners.

A multimillion-dollar contract with New Balance was struck by him in 2021.

While in Japan, he collaborated with Porsche to try out a $122,000 911 Carrera T. He said it was the first time he had driven a luxury supercar.

He is officially the most marketable player in baseball.

Last year, MLB’s chief marketing executive Karin Timpone said, “He’s absolutely a priority.”

“In terms of tactics generally, there are a lot of players that can tell a story to somebody who wants to maybe watch or go to more games, not just the Ԁie-hard fans who are into the season.

He fits the bill of the kind of person we should try to get in touch with. And this is only the beginning with him.Ohtani reportedly has not made any major purchases for his home.

He left the Japanese team dorm and headed straight for Los Angeles when he relocated there six years ago.

This is why he maintains a low-key lifestyle. He is rumored to reside in a three-bedroom apartment close to Angels Stadium.

“My room is really big,” he gushed to the LA Times in 2018.

He continued, “I live alone in a three-bedroom apartment and sometimes I feel lost in all this space.”

It is believed that being so close to Angels Stadium has allowed him to devote more time to baseball.Atari 2600Video gaming brought him closer to his new teammates as he adjusted to his new surroundings.

Ohtani became the clubhouse evangelist for Clаsh Royale among the Angels’ best players.

ESPN said he was the team’s best player.

It was hilarious to see him have lunch while totally crushing his competition.

Ohtani’s close friend and interpreter, Ippei Mizuhara, follows him almost wherever he goes.

Mizuhara is the designated hitter’s personal interpreter, and she always comes to practice with him to make sure Ohtani is getting all he needs.

He is Ohtani’s trusted advisor and helps coordinate the Angels’ and the player’s schedules for everything from warmups to games to media appearances to advanced analytics to rest periods.
