Curry scores 35 points and makes seven three-pointers to help the Warriors beаt the Spurs.

Stephen Curry had 35 points, including seven 3-pointers, which tied his season high. He also had six assists, and the Golden State Warriors beаt Victor Wembanyama and the struggling San Antonio Spurs 118–112. The game was part of the In-Season Tournament.

When Cedi Osman made a three-pointer with 21 seconds left, it pulled the Spurs within 112-109. Curry then made four free throws to seal the win, and Klay Thompson added two more.

Not long after coming off the bench, Dario Saric scored 20 points with four three-pointers and seven rebounds. Thompson also scored 15 points and had six assists. In its last nine games, Golden State has only won twice. The team still wants to get out of Group C in the in-season tournament.

It was San Antonio’s 11th straight loss, and No. 1 pick Wembanyama scored 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds. But he missed all six long-range shots. With a 3-pointer, he scored five points in a row, giving the Spurs an 11-4 lead. More than a foot shorter than the rookie, Gary Patyon II, blocked his shot halfway through the second quarter. The 7-foot-3 rookie had a nice around-the-waist move to get to the basket.

Devin Vassell scored 24 points to lead the Spurs. Keldon Johnson added 22 points and 12 rebounds for San Antonio, which went 0-4 in playoff group play.

Most of the games between these two teams have been won by the Warriors. They’ve won seven of the last nine.

Draymond Green finished the last of his five-game ban for putting a choke hold on Rudy Gobert. He has been working out with the trainers before his return on Tuesday at Sacramento, a game that would have locked up a quarterfinal spot for the Kings if they lost Friday.

“I hope he’s ready to play a lot of minutes,” Steve Kerr, the coach, said.

Golden State opened the new Jim Barnett Media Center to honor the former player and announcer for the team.

She said, “I’m so glad I’m still alive to see all of this.”
