Daniella Semaan, the wife of Cesc Fabregas, has vehemently refuted a Brazilian rumor that claimed Lionel Messi had an affair with Antonela Roccuzzo.
According to a post made on Friday on X by the Brazilian publication Direto Do Miolo, Messi and Roccuzzo’s 15-year romance was going through its “biggest crisis” to date.
They said that the marriage of the Inter Miami player was close to disintegrating and that he had an affair with Argentine journalist Sofia Martinez.
The tweet does, however, cite sources from Spain that don’t seem to exist.

A Brazilian outlet has alleged that Messi had an affair with Argentine journalist Sofia Martinez
Semaan, who is very close to Messi and Roccuzzo and frequently travels with them, further maintains that the rumors are untrue.
She asked, “What publication is this that has no meaning… and has nothing right?” in response to a post on Instagram.
Roccuzzo and Messi have been friends since they were five years old. Thiago, Mateo, and Ciro are the three boys from their 2017 marriage.
In his home country of Argentina, rumors surfaced last month that Messi is ‘in love with a woman who is not Antonela’.
Because of the apparent “look” he gave her during an interview at the Ballon d’Or ceremony, some fans then conjectured that Martinez was the woman in question.
Martinez gained notoriety during the World Cup in Qatar the previous year, which Messi and Argentina ultimately won.
Martinez spoke passionately to Messi during their semi-final matchup with Croatia, and she was interviewed.
Replying to a post on Instagram, she said: ‘What publication is this that has no meaning.. and has nothing right.’
Messi and Roccuzzo got married in 2017 and have three sons: Thiago, Mateo and Ciro
She conveyed to him that regardless of the outcome of the game, the Argentinians were appreciative of him representing them.
The final thing she wanted to add, which wasn’t a question, was that the World Cup final was approaching and that, of course, all Argentinians wanted to win the trophy.
“I just wanted to let you know that no matter what happens, there’s one thing that nobody can take away from you: the fact that you connected with every single Argentinean.” I mean it.
No child is complete without one of your team shirts. regardless of whether it is made up, real, or phony.
“You really left your mark on everyone’s life, and that is more meaningful to me than any World Cup victory.”
“No one can take that away from you, and please accept my gratitude for the immense joy you bring to so many people.”
“Thank you, captain. I sincerely hope you internalize these words because I genuinely think they are more significant than winning a World Cup, which you have already achieved.”
