Bogdanovic started a 13-0 run with two of his seven 3-pointers, cutting the Hawks’ deficit to nineteen points midway through the third quarter.

The Celtics took a 62-48 lead in the second quarter when Brown, after collecting a long rebound off a miss by the team, dribbled through traffic and smashed the ball over Clint Capela. Brown’s performance drew a lengthy and thunderous applause.

At halftime, Boston had a lead of 69–53.

This was the first time the two teams had met since last spring, when the Bruins upset the Hawks in six games to advance to the playoffs.

Joe Mazzulla, coach of the Boston Celtics, stated that Porzingis will be assessed “after a week or so.” His absence is anticipated to be brief.
