Cristiano Ronaldo send his Portugal jersey to Madrid and the wishes for success for a special person

Vinicius Jr., often hailed as Real Madrid’s “new Ronaldo,” took to his personal Instagram to share a photo of a special gift from his idol Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese striker sent Vinicius the jersey he wore during the European Selecao’s triumph over Liechtenstein in the recently concluded Euro 2024 qualifier, complete with a meaningful signature.

The gesture holds significance as Vinicius emulated CR7’s renowned “Calma” celebration after scoring a brace against Valencia in Real Madrid’s 5-1 victory on November 12. Another reason behind the thoughtful gift is the Santiago Bernabeu crowd chanting, “Vinicius Junior, loolololo!”—an ode to the young talent’s promise and potential elevation to a higher level, reminiscent of the acclaim once bestowed upon Cristiano Ronaldo during his time at Los Blancos.

Vinicius showcased the special gift in a dedicated space in his home, featuring a painting by Spanish artist Rene Makela. The artwork illustrates iconic figures that Vinicius has admired since the beginning of his football journey, with a central and revered position reserved for Cristiano Ronaldo. Notably, the two Brazilian football legends, Pele and Ronaldo Nazario, also adorn the artwork.

Currently, Cristiano Ronaldo is in Saudi Arabia, fully recovered and in good health after scoring a remarkable double in Al Nassr’s recent victory in the Saudi Pro League. He is poised to participate in the AFC Champions League next Tuesday.
