Last week, YouTuber and fan of Cristiano Ronaldo IShowSpeed unveiled his new opulent $10 million house.

What’s up, everyone on YouTube? The 18-year-old stated, “I finally bought myself a house up here in my hometown, you know what I am saying,” before giving a tour of the opulent residence.

Speed, real nаme Darren Watkins Jr., flaunted two opulent dressing rooms, an enormous bed, an even larger bathroom that hid an opulent walk-in shower, and that was just his bedroom.

With just two years, the Ohio native’s theatrical style across milliоns of streams has elevated him from total anonymity to international notoriety.

And he has made milliоns of dollars on social media thanks to his fixation with former Real Madrid and Manchester United player Cristiano Ronaldo.

In 2017, Speed posted his very first YouTube video, a minute-and-a-half long video of him dribbling in NBA 2K 2018. It was a far cry from what his stuff would become and contained no commentary.

These kinds of recordings quickly gave way to Fortnite streaming, which helped him refine his distinct style.

Then, after developing a sizable fan base on the platform, the young person started ardently supporting Ronaldo, the forward for Manchester United at the time.

Speed’s following quickly expanded as he vehemently defended the Portuguese striker’s GOAT case, mocked his former rival Lionel Messi, and made it his goal to meet his hero at sporting events all around the world.

The social media rising sensation scored a goal during the Sideman charity game in September 2022, but it was disallowed. He then mimicked Ronaldo’s well-known “siu” celebration.

He made the Red Devils his Premier League team, and in November 2022, he even attended the team’s match at Craven Cottage versus Fulham with Geoff Shreeves and the Sky Sports sideline crew.

That evening, Speed had planned to see the celebrity in west London, and his overly drаmаtic response to the news that Ronaldo was not there was typical. Shreeves laughed quietly to himself in the recess.

During this time, the American became the most ardent Ronaldo fan worldwide, or at least the most well-known, and he took advantage of his newfound notoriety by hosting live streams that drew an increasing number of people.

In one of his most well-known videos, he can be seen responding to clips of Messi when he was at Barcelona’s top. As the young man saw the Argentine great’s skill, he appeared conflicted and had to deal with his mockery of him.

“F*** this n****, I’m tripping,” I said. Ronaldo is superior! Ronaldo is superior. He snapped to consciousness, then bellowed.

A lot of his content about the 38-year-old has a similar tone, and it is really hard to tell if the man’s devotion is real or just a publicity stunt to draw in more viewers.

However, in practice, it makes little difference. Speed mostly uploads his stream highlights to his 7.53 million-subscriber channel Live Speedy. With 21.7m, his primary channel is IShowSpeed.

His films featuring Ronaldo have ranged from “IShowSpeed Reacts to Ronaldo Shouting Him Out” to “IShowSpeed Gets a Ronaldo Tattoo” during the past year. And indeed, the entire process of getting the forward’s visage inked onto his left arm was seen by enthusiastic fans on live streaming.

Eventually, a number of football players who were also extensively involved with internet celebrities and viral social media material spotted him because of his unwavering dedication. His relationship with AC Milan forward Rafael Leao proved to be one of his most significant connections in his pursuit of meeting Ronaldo.

The Portugal international made his debut in an IShowSpeed video towards the end of the previous year. Leao said in a Facetime conversation with the adolescent that his legendary teammate knew him well.

Leao exclaimed to an overjoyed Speed, who had just released a song aptly named Ronaldo [Sewey], “You know sometimes like in the training, I come to him and I sаy “Sewey” and he says the same thing.”

By now, Speed had made multiple fruitless attempts to see Ronaldo, including two trips to Old Trafford from the United States and a trip to Qatar for the World Cup.
