On Sunday, Selena Gomez showed up to her ex-boyfriend Samuel Krost’s wedding looking effortlessly stunning in all black.

As he wed Esther Shemia in a chateau in Condecourt, France, the 31-year-old singer and actress demonstrated that she was still friendly with Samuel, the head of a fashion label and a former talent booker for the ill-fated Fyre Festival hoax.

With her warm black fur coat, which kept her warm on the gloomy day, Selena almost stole the show.

Despite the fact that a source informed Entertainment Tonight on Sunday that the Spring Breakers star is currently just focusing on “casually dating,” it appears that her most recent public reunions with Krost took place back in 2019 and 2021.

She was seen walking out of the event down a flight of steps, trailed by several males dressed in suits and tuxedos.

Selena was fully clothed in a modest black maxi dress that hung almost to the floor. The fabric was so loosely fitted that she had to grab hold of it while walking to prevent stumbling over it.

It was unclear if the opulent black fur coat on top of the dress was synthetic or real fur, but it sparkled in the low light.

The five-foot-five beauty looked stunning in a pair of black open-toe stilettos that strapped around her ankles. Her long, caramel-highlighted hair was pulled up into a bun, with the remaining wavy strands falling across her shoulders and back.

With a dainty mauve lip and a subtle smoky eye, Selena looked flawless.

She added a sparkling silver handbag with an asymmetrical sweep at the top to complete her ensemble.

As the hitmaker left the event and entered the courtyard outside, she was seen conversing with a female friend.

Her ex-husband Samuel added flair to the traditional tuxedo by dressing it up in a shiny black satin double-breasted jacket and an especially loose bow tie.

Esther looked gorgeous in her white bridal dress with layers upon layers of exquisitely designed lace.

The bride wore a white veil over her face, a tiny sheer bodice, and additional lace around her neck.

 

She was observed going down a flight of steps with several attendants holding up her dress while she carried a bunch of light pink flowers.

She was spotted moving around in her full gown and what appeared to be bright white sneakers, giving the impression that she was prioritizing comfort for a portion of the day.

Later, the brunette beauty waved down at her loved ones from the chateau’s window, flashing her ear-to-ear grin.

Selena and Samuel seemed to maintain a low profile during their time together.

When they were seen holding hands in a photo from 2015, the former pair sparked rumors about a romance, but Selena never addressed the subject.

Although it seemed to be over at the time, Samuel appeared to validate the relationship in a since-deleted Instagram post the following year.

“Selena is an actual girl with actual feelings and a real heart.” “Know that love is real, all you shallow people who are just unhappy with your love lives,” the man added. Even though our paths have diverged, at least I am aware that love is possible. Sel, you have my undying affection.

Many of Gomez’s followers first became aware of Krost through their relationship with her; however, once he acknowledged that he had been recruited to arrange musical artists for the festival, he was later linked to the disastrous Fyre Festival.

He did, however, also establish a fashion label.

The pair was sighted together once more in 2019 and again in 2021, but at that point she made it clear on social media that she was single.

Even though Selena was attending her close friend’s wedding, it doesn’t seem like she’s actively pursuing a committed relationship right now.

She’s currently keeping her dating life casual, a close source told ET on Sunday.

After being photographed hanging out with Drew Taggart of The Chainsmoker earlier this year, she has undoubtedly piqued fans’ interest and sparked rumors of a potential romance.

In March, she was also spotted holding hands with Zayn Malik, a former member of One Direction. The two even shared a kiss during a meal out, which sparked fresh suspicions about their romance.

She did, however, later (again) declare on social media that she was single, and in June it seemed as though she had unfollowed Zayn, suggesting that their relationship had ended.

Selena was spotted celebrating by going out in Paris after the dream wedding.

In an Instagram post, she showed off her black Valentino tweed blazer dress, putting on an especially voluptuous show.

The photo also showed off her new lighter hairstyle, which she had adopted in place of her typical dark locks.
