LeBron James sells his mansion in Coconut Grove for $18.5M

The house where LeBron James used to live in Coconut Grove sells for $18.5M

Eight years ago, the ex-Miami Heat star sold the waterfront home for $13.4M.

The waterfront home that LeBron James used to own in Coconut Grove sold for $18.5 million, which is 44% more than the price it was sold for in 2021.

The six-bedroom, eight-and-a-half-bathroom home at 3590 Crystal View Court in Miami was sold by Jeff Conry and his wife, Sherianne Conry. Jeff Conry used to be the head of the charter airline iAero Airways. The house is almost 14,000 square feet and was bought by John Lie-Nielson and Darling Nielsen.

John Lie-Nielson started and runs the banking company One Park banking in Coconut Grove. A $13 million debt from Bank of America helped him and his wife pay for the deal.

In May 2021, the Conrys paid $12.8 million for the almost half-acre piece of land. The house was built in 2010.

James sold the house for $13.4 million in 2015. He was a four-time NBA winner and played for the Miami Heat from 2010 to 2014. An NBA player from Los Angeles paid $9 million for a house in Sunny Isles Beach’s Estates at Acqualina last year.

The offering says that the Crystal View Court home has a private dock, pool, gym, spa, and three-car garage. It also has 80 feet of water frontage on Biscayne Bay. As their selling agent, Jason Zarco of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices EWM Realty worked with the Conrys. The buyers were helped by Christina Cuervo of C Realty Group.

Zarco put the house up for sale for $20.5 million. Zarco wouldn’t sаy who the buyers were, but he did sаy that the deal was signed within six weeks of going on the market.

“We got such a good price because there is nothing on the open bay in the $20 million price range that’s ready to move in,” he said. He also said that his clients are cutting back.

Zarco said that Jeff Conry kept the guest house the same as it was when James owned it, but added King James wallpaper to the room and laser-cut edges to the door.

An investment manager named James Star bought a nearby waterfront lot at 3323 Poinciana Avenue in Coconut Grove for $18 million in October. Star is married to a member of the wealthy Crown family of Chicago. That house was bought for more than 200% more than what it sold for two years ago.
