While spending time with his little son in a laid-back setting, Jayson Tatum had some deep reflections on Father’s Day.
On Sunday, photos of the 25-year-old NBA forward and his 5-year-old son Jayson “Deuce” Christopher relaxing by the pool and going rafting in a beautiful tropical setting appeared on Instagram.
While on vacation, the pair also posed for pictures while riding a jet ski and on a yacht.
This is Deuce’s dad, Tatum captioned the photographs.
Deuce, who is now a star for the Boston Celtics and the NBA, was born to Tatum when he was 19 years old. The co-owners of Deuce are Tatum and Toriah Lachell, who was his ex-girlfriend.The NBA star, who was picked by the Celtics in January and had a son, Deuce, in December 2017, spoke at a press conference in June about his job as a parent role model and his bond with his kid.It was the most pivotal year of my life, wasn’t it? I was picked in 2017 without Deuce, but he was born that year, so it was still major.
Tatum announced, “I recently gave birth to a child” as she embarked on this next chapter in her career.”I had no intention of making any concessions; I maintained the mindset that I would be the best possible father and basketball player,” the Boston Celtics star continued. “There was either no set procedure to follow or there was no set guideline at all.”
What was intrinsic to nature was the center of all.”I do what is most comfortable for me.” I feel like I’m constantly in his company. The fact that Tatum was drafted at the age of 19 gave him the impression that they were growing up together. “Having you by my side on this adventure has been an honor.” Sharing these times and maturing with him as he has grown has been my professional journey. “I find it to be the most fascinating part.”
