LA Is Supposed To Reevaluate The Trade Of Zach LaVine

Here at All Lakers HQ, we had to control our laughter when news broke last week that your Los Angeles Lakers were actually not interested in trading for Zach LaVine, thank you very much, according to Marc Stein.

The Lakers, who have been disappointing so far this season, could use a scoring boost from someone other than Austin Reaves, and the 28-year-old UCLA product, who was a two-time All-Star during his prime and a deаd-eye three-level sharpshooter, would be the ideal solution.

When FanDuel’s Shams Charania said that, well, maybe the Lakers still aren’t ready to give up on dealing for Zach LaVine, I was, in fact, completely unsurprised.

After appearing to be out for the season, LaVine recently told Klutch Sports agent Rich Paul—who also represents the majority of the key Lakers—that he would be open to being traded.

But he’s also the creative scoring puncҺ the Lakers need to keep LeBron James, who’s 38 years old, off the bench and maybe even turn a positive plus-minus.
