Casino magnate to buy majority share of NBA’s Dallas Mavericks from Mark Cuban, reports sаy
According to many media outlets, the owner of a casino empire is reportedly in the process of purchasing a controlling stake in the Dallas Mavericks club of the National Basketball Association (NBA) from the wealthy businessman Mark Cuban.
According to the reports, Las Vegas Sands Corp. and the Adelson family trust intend to sell $2 billiоn worth of Sands stock “to fund the purchаse of a majority interest in a professional sports franchise.” On Tuesday, the company informed the Securities and Exchange Commission of this intention. Dr. Miriam Adelson is the majority shareholder of Las Vegas Sands Corp.
The Las Vegas Sands Corp. is a Nevada-based gaming conglomerate that formerly owned The Venetian and now has properties in Singapore and Macao.
