Bruno sent a ‘message’ to Garnacho before the match against Galatasaray

Bruno Fernandes heaped praise on Garnacho after the Argentine international’s excellent performance against Everton. However, the Manchester United captain also gave a stern warning to the teenage player. Bruno is concerned that Garnacho’s back could be damaged if the star born in 2004 tries to repeat that kicking technique in future matches.

Speaking to reporters, Fernandes said: “Garnacho’s goal brought motivation to the whole team in the match against Everton. We expect such moments from Garnacho. We have players who can dedicating moments to Man United.

You need something special to win games and he has done that many times. I don’t know if he practices like that, but that technique won’t be good for his back.”He possesses special talent and knows how to speak up at decisive moments. But I’m happier if he can improve his ability to play without the ball, then combine it with what he showed well in the match against Everton,” Bruno added.

Immediately after the match at Goodison Park, the Portuguese international joked that Garnacho must have watched too many videos of his idol Cristiano Ronaldo. The 19-year-old’s bicycle kick was very similar to Ronaldo’s goal against Juventus in the 2018 Champions League. Garnacho even copied the famous ‘Siuu’ celebration of the Al-Nassr star.

Having only won 3 points after the first 4 matches in the Champions League group stage, Bruno Fernandes and his teammates aim to win against Galatasaray mid-week to continue raising hopes of getting a ticket to the 1/8 round. “We must win Galatasaray,” Garnacho emphasized. “And then, at the weekend, we need to keep winning to stay close to the top four.”
