Shohei Ohtani’s return to the Los Angeles Angels seems quite unlikely. All the comfort in the world won’t save him from the fact that he hasn’t won a championship while playing for the same team his whole career.

Because the Angels have failed to post a winning record in every season that Ohtani has been a part of, he will not give the team any serious consideration if winning is his first priority. I know it’s hard to hear, but the trutҺ is.

Ohtani seems to be associated with the San Francisco Giants, who, like the Angels, have struggled to win games recently. However, MLB Network’s Jon Morosi has declared San Francisco as a team to keep an eye on in the lead-up to next week’s Winter Meetings because of Shohei Ohtani.

It is quite unlikely that the Giants will actually sign Shohei Ohtani.

The Giants haven’t accomplished much since Shohei Ohtani’s arrival to the league, despite their impressive performance since 2010. They’ve made it to the playoffs once and had one winning season. This past season, the Giants fired Gabe Kapler due to the team’s disappointing record of 79-83. They have placed third or lower in six of the past seven seasons, and even with Ohtani on board, there’s no reason to think that will change. Within their division are the Dodgers, widely regarded as the pinnacle of baseball. The division rival Diamondbacks, who won the National League, are just going to become better. There are dangers even from the Padres.

When compared to the Angels, the Giants have no advantages in terms of location or winning potential.

Ohtani has options outside of the Angels, therefore you should be concerned about those teams. A dаnger posed by teams with winning potential. Unlike the Angels, the Giants are not a club that fans should be concerned about.
