Last week, Pflugrad said she was leaving her position, and it was later reported that she would be covering the Phoenix Suns as a sideline reporter.”Boston will always be a part of me and feel like home and for that reason I will always bleed green for my Celtics family,” she wrote in an Instagram parting message. On Saturday, she made her debut with the broadcast crew of the Suns during their 126-104 victory over the Utah Jazz at home. She’s the first reporter the team’s had on the sidelines in a while.

Porzingis still getting back into shape, ‘going to get much, much better’

After three impressive performances for the Boston Celtics, Kristaps Porzingis claims he is only getting started and will continue to improve dramatically.

Porzingis shot 51.9 percent from the field and 46.7 percent from deep in his first two games, averaging 23.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.5 blocks, and 1.5 steals per contest.

оn Mоndаy night, Pоrzingis helped the Celtics beаt the Wаshingtоn Wizаrds 126-107. He scоred 15 pоints, grаbbed six rebоunds, dished оut three аssists, аnd blоcked а shоt. The Celtics’ huge аdvаntаge оver the Wizаrds meаnt thаt he just hаd tо plаy 24 minutes.

Porzingis, despite his fantastic start, does not think he has reached his full potential.

I’m still trying to get back into really excellent shape,” Porzingis added. I haven’t arrived yet. Because of missing the World Cup, my summer was less than ideal. My progress is really slow.

The Celtics announced in August that Porzingis would be undergoing a four- to six-week rehabilitation programme during which he would not participate in any basketball-related activities. Porzingis’s play so far suggests that the rehabilitation programme was a wise one, allowing his foot to fully recover. Porzingis has had a history of injuries, so the fact that he has been healthy so far this season is a major positive development.

I’m having fun with these guys,” Porzingis added again. This is a fantastic group of people, and I feel like I have found my place among them. Adapting to playing with these guys has been relatively easy.;Jaylen Brown says the squad has good potential, but they still need to work on their relationship. By putting the team first, the Celtics can let their play flow and anticipate who will have a good game on any given night. The Celtics have a bevy of scoring alternatives in Porzingis, Brown, Jayson Tatum, and Jrue Holiday, and the players don’t appear to worry much about their own statistics as long as they’re winning.

The future of Porzingis’s game is bright: “I’m still going to get much, much better,” he said. I’ve only just begun getting back into peak condition. Joe [Mazzulla] has been fantastic; he has pushed me to improve throughout the preseason, training camp, and even in games. He expects us to perform at our highest level. How talented he is has shocked me. I’m excited for us to continue developing our rapport with each other, our coaches, and Joe.
