Selena Gomez’s Flawless Makeup Shines in Glam Snaps, as Rare Beauty Founder Prepares for Star-Studded Academy Museum Gala

Selena Gomez, the founder of Rare Beauty, flaunted her immaculate beauty look as she got ready for a star-studded night at the Academy Museum Gala.

Selena looked amazing in pictures shared on her Instagram Stories when she wore glittering eye shadow, a dashing of blush, and a fresh pink lip gloss.

Her brunette hair was pulled back into a sophisticated bun, emphasizing her stunning skin even more.

Selena, 31, smiled broadly as she posed with friend Nicola Peltz, 28, in front of the A-list event.

The couple was snapping pictures inside the Beverly Hills Hotel with Brooklyn Beckham, 24, Nicola’s husband, who celebrated their friendship’s “anniversary” by posting more pictures to his own Instagram account.

Beckham posted pictures of them getting ready for the event while they posed for pictures inside the famous hotel while wearing glamorous outfits.

“Our anniversary,” Beckham wrote as the post’s caption.

Along with a picture of Selena’s replacement, Beckham also posted pictures of himself posing with his wife and the actress from Only Murders In The Building on his Instagram Stories.

As Nicola had previously disclosed, Selena and her became close after attending the Academy Gala.

She told Cosmopolitan earlier this year, “I had met her once in passing a few years ago, and then we all went to this event in September, the Academy Gala.” We had a great time together and just bonded. And after that, we grew quite close. She seems to be my soul sister.

“I’m in love with her.” She is without a doubt one of the most incredible individuals I have ever encountered. The kindest person ever. Her heart is indeed gold. She seems like someone I’ve known forever.

“Oh my god,” she said, adding that her husband and Selena got along wonderfully. We each have three best pals, therefore we say to each other, “Yeah, we are a throuple.”

The Welcome to Chippendales actress continued, “I think it really is so beautiful when you have girlfriends in your life who cheer you on.” Furthermore, a girl saying to me, “Oh my gosh, I love your outfit,” while I’m just strolling down the street has far greater meaning than a guy saying the same thing. Like, whatever, disgusting. However, receiving a compliment from a girl is much more meaningful.

Established in 2021, the annual Academy Museum Gala seeks to generate revenue for the museum’s public activities and exhibitions.

The inaugural gala raised an incredible $11 million for the museum, and the event consistently attracts a red carpet as star-studded as the Academy Awards itself.

At the glitzy event, a number of celebrities were also honored. Meryl Streep received the Icon Award, which honors a performer whose body of work has had a major influence on culture throughout the world.

Michael B. Jordan was the recipient of the Vantage Award, which recognizes a young researcher or artist who is assisting in the contextualization and subversion of mainstream cinematic narratives.

The Pillar Award, which recognizes outstanding leadership and support for the Academy Museum, was given to Oprah Winfrey.

The Visionary Award, which honors a creator or academic whose contributions have elevated the field of cinema, was given to Sofia Coppola.

“We are thrilled to come together once more for our third annual Academy Museum Gala, which honors the strength, influence, and lasting significance of film,” stated a statement released earlier this year by Jacqueline Stewart, the organization’s president and director.

“I am incredibly proud to honor these four artists: Meryl Streep, Michael B. Jordan, Oprah Winfrey, and Sofia Coppola. Their passion and inventiveness have greatly influenced and molded our culture.”

The event was originally scheduled for October, but it was rescheduled in response to Israel’s attack by Hamas.

Though these ended earlier this year, there had been worries that the Hollywood strikes will have an effect on the event as well.

After 118 days, the Hollywood actors’ strike came to an end last month, making it the longest walkout for performers in movies and television ever.

They celebrated a new deal with a five percent wage boost, streaming bonuses, and protection from AI, the month before the writers’ strike ended.
