In preparation for their quarterfinal clаsh against the Pelicans in the In-Season Tournament, the Los Angeles Lakers have listed four players as injured.

With a left calf contusion, LeBron James is considered questionable, while Anthony Davis and Jarred Vanderbilt are both classified as probable with left heel bursitis and left abductor/hip spasm, respectively. Finally, due to left knee effusion, Gabe Vincent will not be playing. Although he did play in the first four games of the season, Vincent has been out with an ιnjury since.

We will disclоse the final statuses of Davis, Vanderbilt, and James before Thursday’s tipoff. Of course, Lakers coach Darvin Ham would like to have all three players available.

To set up their semifinal showdown with the Pelicans, the Lakers defeated the Suns 106-103 on Tuesday night, while the Pelicans advanced to the semifinals by defeating the Kings of Sacramento. Both teams will be playing in Las Vegas for the match. The Pelicans are 4-1 in tournament play, while the Lakers are undefeated at 5-0.

The Lakers and Pelicans will play their semifinal game on Saturday night, with the victor advancing to Saturday night’s tournament final. That matchup is scheduled for Thursday night before the Los Angeles Rams face on the New Orleans Pelicans.

Next week, once the tournament concludes, the Lakers will resume their typical season schedule. Before facing the San Antonio Spurs for a back-to-back at Frost Bank Center, they’ll take a trip to Texas on Tuesday night to take on Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks.
