LeBron James came out in аTTаCK MODE to lead the Lakers to the Championship of the NBA In-Season Tournament

James entertained the crowd in Las Vegas during the semifinals of the inaugural In-Season Tournament.

LeBron James made sure to remind everyone that “it’s still December” after the Los Angeles Lakers upset the New Orleans Pelicans 133-89 in the NBA In-Season Tournament semifinals on Thursday. However, he played unlike he did in any other regular-season game. From the start, James had a clear goal in mind and played with the same intensity and focus that we have seen during his remarkable 21-year career. This time, he was leading the Lakers to victory over the Indiana Pacers in the In-Season Tournament championship game, which took place in Las Vegas on Saturday.

James finished the game with a career-high 30 points, eight assists, five rebounds, and a 9 of 12 shooting percentage from the field. While they are undoubtedly impressive numbers, they do not stand out in comparison to his previous accomplishments. The fact that he was able to accumulate those totals in just 23 minutes—that is, 22 minutes and 32 seconds—was what set this game apart from the others. This was made feasible by the Lakers’ significant early advantage.

Being the first player in NBA history to record at least 30 points, five assists, and five rebounds in a game lasting no more than 23 minutes, James created history. James achieved this feat just a few weeks prior to his 39th birthday. After winning on Thursday, James told TNT on the floor, “I’m not getting too crаzy about the whole thing because it’s still December.” Even though December is still here, the In-Season Tournament has been a fantastic experience.
