Warriors make turnover history in overtime loss to Thunder
The Warriors lost their second overtime game to the Oklahoma City Thunder, 138-136, on Friday night at the Paycom Center.

Golden State’s two overtime losses this season came against the Thunder, and Chet Holmgren sent both games to overtime. This time, a clutch 3-pointer by Steph Curry gave the Warriors a 3-point lead in the final seconds, but Draymond Green fouled Holmgren from beyond the arc. Holmgren made all three free throws to tie the game. Curry’s three one-on-one misses against Lu Dort in the final seven seconds of regulation were on target and sent the game into overtime.
Golden State turned the ball over 29 times, the most of the season in the NBA, and the Thunder scored 35 points off their turnovers. Cory Joseph was the only Warrior without a turnover and eight of the 10 Warriors who saw the court had at least one turnover. Andrew Wiggins had six, Thompson and Green four each.
Curry finished with a team-high 34 points, and Jonathan Kuminga had 24. Klay Thompson finished with 22.
The Warriors’ road trip moves to Phoenix, where they will face old friend Kevin Durant and the Suns on Tuesday. They will then face the Clippers for the third time in two weeks on Thursday in Los Angeles.
