After just two seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers, Austin Reaves has established himself as a fan favorite. Once that was out of the way, Reaves would sign a new maximum deal, represent the United States at the FIBA World Cup, and design shoes for the Rigorer brand of Chinese athletic apparel.
Reaves is now a shareholder in Rigorer and has signed an extension with the company. In honor of the occasion, on December 8th, a fresh “Milky Way” colorway of the AR1 sneaker will Һit store shelves.
This Friday, only on KICKS CREW, you can get your hands on the new “Milky Way” colorway—exclusively for $100. Reaves scored 18 points in 22 minutes during Saturday’s Lakers game against the Rockets, marking his first appearance in this new colorway.
Reaves joined Rigorer in June, and since then, four colors have been introduced, all of which were sold out in an instant. The new “Milky Way” colorway has a shoe that is primarily purple with touches of pink and turquoise. Both Reaves’ professional accomplishments and the joyous holiday season are intended to be represented by this color scheme.
For some reason, this summer has felt completely out of this world. From his long-term contract with the Lakers to his participation in the FIBA World Cup and the instantaneous sale of his sneakers, Reaves had nothing but fantastic experiences. “However, at this moment, my whole attention is fixed on the Lakers. I intend to do all in my power to return that championship trophy to Los Angeles. This shoe symbolizes both my objective and my experience with the organization.”
To celebrate the release of the AR1’s fifth colorway, Rigorer and Reaves have teamed up with KICKS CREW as the official launch partner. This partnership enables KICKS CREW to provide customers all around the world with an easy way to shop without borders.
According to KICKS CREW cofounder Ross Adrian Yip, “The KICKS CREW team has been thrilled with the success we have seen with our partnership and are looking forward to continuing to build on this relationship.” This statement was made in reflection of the team’s partnership with Austin Reaves and Rigorer.
Exclusively on KICKSCREW.COM and RIGORER.COM, the Rigorer AR1 “Milky Way” will be launched on Friday at 8 a.m. PT. For an opportunity to win one of five complimentary pairs, fans can register on the KICKS CREW AR1 event page.
Making “winning plays” was Reaves’ primary aim.
Not everyone enjoys playing in LA, but it appears that Reaves is unfazed by the pressure. He wаnted nothing more than to win championships and make “winning plays” to get there.
