Nicolas Jackson’s heated exchange received final FA decision

Nicolas Jackson found himself in a conflict with Everton’s Nathan Patterson at Goodison Park following Chelsea’s defeat. Jackson, visibly furious after the loss, directed his anger towards Patterson.

Concerns arose within Chelsea that Jackson’s heated actions might lead to further consequences, potentially worsening the impact of the defeat. However, according to Metro, the Football Association (FA) determined that the incident had been resolved at the time, opting not to impose any penalties on the Senegalese striker.

This decision means that the 2001-born star will be available to participate in matches during the upcoming Christmas period. Jackson, who has faced challenges since his move from Villarreal to Stamford Bridge, has scored six goals for Chelsea in the current season.

The defeat to Everton pushed Chelsea down to 12th place in the standings, bringing them closer to the relegation zone than the top 4.

The situation is further complicated by the injury to Reece James. Manager Mauricio Pochettino acknowledged that Chelsea is likely to explore additional signings in the winter market of 2024 to address the challenges they are facing.
