Austin Reaves, a guard for the Los Angeles Lakers, was frank about the earlier unfounded reports that he was dating pop singer Taylor Swift.

Before the pop singer started dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, there were rumors that Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves was dating Taylor Swift. According to FanDuel’s Run It Back, Reaves recently addressed the prior rumors about both Swift and himself.

“My original response was… Reaves said, “I was playing cards with my friends back home in Arkansas.” And I received it from one of my buddies. I thought, ‘Are you serious?’ Even though I really try not to interact with the media, it’s nearly impossible.

In case anyone was wondering, Reaves also revealed that he is not single, answering Chandler Parsons’ question.
