Another significant oversight was failing to call Rodrigo Bentancur’s foul on Kai Havertz in the buildup to Spurs’ opener and missing Richarlison’s offside positioning during Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s goal.

 

Chelsea defender Thiago Silva expressed his discontent on social media, specifically criticizing the referee’s decision to ignore Romero’s hair-pulling incident during a corner defense, which ultimately led to a late Tottenham goal.
