Even though she was scheduled to be honored at a ceremony for Time Magazine’s Person of the Year gala, Taylor Swift spent Tuesday night with her best friend Selena Gomez, actor Miles Teller, and his wife Keleigh Sperry.

Despite being featured on the magazine’s Person of the Year cover, the 34-year-old hitmaker seemed to have chosen to forego the occasion in order to spend her birthday with her friends one day early.

The three went to the posh members-only club Zero Bond, where she wore a beautiful leather trench coat and mixed casual and stylish looks with seamless ease.

Taylor left Kanas City, Missouri, earlier in the day and landed in the Big Apple, where she maintains a penthouse.

Previously, she had been hanging out with her NFL player boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce.

Taylor’s apparent decision to miss the Time gala came as a shock because it was thought that she had returned to New York City just to attend the ceremony on Tuesday.

The hitmaker, however, has a history of being devoted to her friends and members of her “squad,” so it seems that she opted for a low-key evening with Gomez and their friends rather than the public event.

The party, with the exception of Gomez, was first seen approaching the club while getting out of a black luxury SUV.

Keleigh went first, with Taylor trailing closely behind.

The singer Anti-Hero made a statement with her trench coat made of brown leather, which contrasted sharply with the more conventional gabardine or cotton fabrics.

The puffy coat, with its epaulettes, hung loosely over her trim figure.

In addition to wearing her belt knotted, she was buttoned up to remain extra warm on this chilly evening.

Although Taylor’s undergarment was largely hidden, her high neckline of what she was wearing seemed to be showing through her coat.

Despite Miles surpassing Taylor’s 5’11” height with his 6’1″ frame, she still appeared to loom over him because of her oversized black platform boots adorned with thick gold Cuban links.

She covered up with black-patterned tights and completed her chic ensemble with a simple black handbag.

The Shake It Off singer styled her blond hair in a bun, giving away that she was going to have a low-key evening.

As Swift and Gomez were seen leaving the restaurant with Miles and Keleigh, they were seen holding hands.

Gomez, who just made public her relationship with music producer Benny Blanco, looked amazing in all-black.

The 31-year-old former Disney Channel star donned skintight hot pants and sheer black tights underneath her big black coat.

She had previously been spending time in Kansas City, Missouri, with her NFL star boyfriend Travis Kelce, who plays for the Chiefs

But the hitmaker has long shown loyalty to her friends and members of her ‘squad,’ so she appeared to have chosen an intimate evening with her pals Miles and Keleigh over the high-profile event

Selena wore an oversized black coat

She was wearing a comfortable sweater top and a fancy belt.

Gomez had lightened brunette hair that fell in thick streaks down her chest.

She only applied a substantial amount of pale pink lip gloss and a shimmering shadow to her lids, keeping her makeup subtle.

Keleigh was wearing a loose-fitting black sport coat with two breasts.

She wore it unbuttoned to show off her dark top and cream-colored miniskirt with a checkerboard motif.

The model donned knee-high black leather boots and matched Taylor’s black tights.

Her gorgeous brunette hair was parted in the middle, allowing it to fall in fluttering waves down her breast. She accessorized with a timeless black Chanel handbag with quilting.

Miles compared his friends with a much more relaxed group. He wore an unadorned white shirt underneath an open-collared blue-and-white plaid shirt jacket.

The actor from Top Gun, Maverick, was also sporting a black baseball cap that represented The Long Drink, a Finnish spin on lemony seltzer in which he owns stock and frequently promotes, along with black pants and plain black sneakers.
