Luka Modric was honored to accept the esteemed AS Awards Lifetime Achievement Award in the wee hours of this morning (Vietnam time). Speaking after receiving the prize, Modric thanked everyone and gave the crowd an emotional speech.
“Good evening to all of you. I want to start by congratulating the other winners. Being here with so many amazing athletes is a pleasure,” Modric remarked.
“I sincerely appreciate AS giving me this honor. Being acknowledged by such a well-known media company is a huge honor. I owe a huge debt of gratitude to my colleagues and coaches, as well as the fans, for their constant support,” Modric said.
When questioned about the Champions League, Modric admitted that there might be difficulties. “Regaining the title would be amazing. RB Leipzig, on the other hand, is thriving in its own league. Above all, though, we have to give it our all in La Liga and the Copa del Rey,” Modric continued.
Modric’s remarks show his humility, gratitude for the praise, and attention to the challenges his squad faces ahead. His accomplishments, abilities, and sportsmanship have made him a football star who continues to motivate supporters worldwide.
