Tom Brady caused a stir this week when he revealed a mysterious statement on a “lying cheating heart” more than a year following his split with Gisele Bundchen.
Currently courting supermodel Irina Shayk, the 46-year-old retired NFL player posted the lengthy remark from famed boxer Muhammad Ali to his Instagram Story on Tuesday.
The late athlete says in it that only a man with a sincere, loving heart can be ‘great,’ and that the ‘heart,’ whether good or terrible, is what leads us.’
It also forewarns that no matter how successful they may be in the material world, people devoid of morality, kindness, and love will never genuinely reach greatness.
Brady shared on Instagram Stories a few months after Gisele, 43, said that she was “just surviving” in their 13-year marriage and that the two of them had “grown apart.”
It also coincides with reports, which Gisele has categorically refuted, that she has moved on from her separation with jiujitsu coach Joaquim Valente in October 2022.
She stated to Vanity Fair earlier this year that since she is no longer single, the media is only attempting to “attach” her to someone.

The long quotation from famed boxer Muhammad Ali, which reads, “Only a man with a true, loving heart can be ‘great,'” was posted to the 46-year-old retired NFL player’s Instagram Story on Tuesday. Ali is currently showing interest in supermodel Irina Shayk.
Gisele also thanked Valente, her “great friend,” for guiding her and her kids through this new phase of their lives.
“A person’s personality.” a person’s methods. His ideas. His actions. his deeds,’ starts Ali’s quotation. “are centered on his heart.
“What does a man stand for?” A man is what his heart makes him. A man who lies and cheats is a heart that lies. “A loving, merciful man is one who has a merciful, loving heart.”
In addition, Ali discusses the actual definition of “living,” explaining that “a dead heart” is a “dead man,” while “a living heart” is that of a “living man.”
He continues by stressing that a man’s character, not his rank, determines his brilliance.
Whatever a man’s title may be. A man cannot be great, regardless of his position, riches, or status, if his heart is not great.
“But if a man has a great heart, he will remain great no matter what, rich or poor, big or small, because a person’s heart determines their size,” the quotation ends.
Brady offered his personal opinion, telling his 14.6 million followers to be “proud of the man in the glass.”
Prior to being married in 2009, Brady and Bundchen began dating in 2007.
Before announcing their impending divorce in October 2022, the couple had been married for over ten years and had welcomed two children, son Benjamin, 13, and daughter Vivian Lake, 11, into their family.

In separate statements, they said that it took ‘much consideration’ before they made the ‘difficult’ and ‘painful’ decision to end their marriage.
Gisele noted that they had ‘amicably finalized the divorce’ while Brady said they only ‘wish the best for each other.’
She told CBS News Sunday Morning that she has happily moved into a new era of her life and finally feels like she’s ‘living.’
Brady is seemingly back in the dating game as he recently rekindled his romance with Irina Shayk, 37.
The Russian runway maven and the former football player became the subject of dating rumors after reportedly hitting it off in July.
Like Brady, Shayk is also parent as she shares a six-year-old daughter named Lea with ex Bradley Cooper, 48.
Months later it was reported that their fling ‘fizzled out’ but reconnected this month after they were seen in each other’s company in Miami, Florida.
Earlier this week, DailyMail.com exclusively revealed that Brady and Shayk could soon take the next step by making their romance ‘official.’
Insiders dished that the pair are comfortable with their connection becoming ‘more permanent’ — but no one wants to make the first move.
‘Tom and Irina are hanging out again but aren’t in a full-blown relationship,’ the source said. ‘They are attracted to each other and love hanging out but are playing the game of hanging out with each other when it is convenient for them.
