San Francisco declared that it had traded for outfielder TJ Hopkins from the Cincinnati Reds in exchange for financial considerations or an unidentified player.

There were no more details at this time.

The Giants have made several moves in the last week, including the trading of Hopkins. They have allegedly added right-handers Devin Sweet and Tom Murphy, as well as signing Korean outfielder Jung Hoo Lee to a six-year, $113 million contract.
