The picture session that resulted from LeBron James and his family inviting Vanity Fair into their house has gone viral. The location of the photo shoot was their Los Angeles home.
On Tuesday, the Lakers icon and his spouse Savannah James invited Vanity Fair to their Los Angeles home, where the publication shot their first family photos with their three kids, sons Bronny (now 17) and Bryce (now 15), and daughter Zhuri (now 7). The photos feature James’ mother, Gloria, as well as Savannah’s parents, Jennifer and JK.
The West Coast residence featured a black Porsche 918 Spyder and a swimming pool with marble details, and the Jameses posed in an array of opulent attire.
2013 saw the marriage of James and Savannah, who had been close friends since high school in Ohio. The couple is shown cuddling on the sports car in one photo.
Just before the picture was taken, James laughed a little too loudly and made Savannah burst out laughing. After first stating, “I cannot repeat that,” she went on to explain, “Everything isn’t for everybody.”
It was OK to criticize the James family’s tight knit knit community, love of hoops, and matching outfits.
The entire family dressed alike, including James and Zhuri, who shared a unique father-daughter moment by dressing alike in Chrome Hearts overalls.
“Pardon my language, but we a dσpє family,” Savannah said, alluding to the family that showed up in a number of pictures that she and her daughter had taken together, including ones where they stood beside a pool and in her opulently furnished bedroom.
As seen in photos and behind-the-scenes footage, James also enjoys playing hoops with his sons on a backyard hoop. They all wore the same bikinis as they posed on a crown-shaped float in the pool.
It’s encouraging to see a black family receiving some media coverage. Regardless of your opinion regarding LeBron’s status as the greatest player of all time, what matters is that he has never embarrassed his loved ones by shoving them off the floor.
