The 2020 NBA Champion moved ahead of Nate Archibald (16,481) for 106th on the list

During Thursday’s match, Anthony Davis created NBA history.

The Minnesota Timberwolves take on the Los Angeles Lakers at the Target Center on Thursday night. 

Anthony Davis moved up on the all-time scoring list during the game, creating NBA history. 

The 2020 NBA Champion is now ranked 106th on the list, surpassing Nate Archibald (16,481). 

Latrell Sprewell (16,712) will be the next player for Davis to pass after Archibald. 

Before the game, Davis had averaged 24.0 points, 12.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.2 steals, and 2.5 blocks per game in 26 games while shooting 33.3% from three-point range and 54.6% from the field.  

The Lakers are now ranked eighth in the Western Conference after going 15–13 in their first 28 games. 

They are currently on a two-game losing streak and have gone 5-5 in their previous ten games. 

The Lakers most recently suffered a 124-108 defeat at the United Center against the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday. 

Davis shot 7/15 from the field and finished with 19 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks in 38 minutes of action.
