Nassef Sawiris, Egypt’s Billionaire Philanthropist, Uses His $24M Mansion as a Means to Aid the Underprivileged

Egyptian billionaire Nassef Sawiris lives in a $24M house to help the needy.

In London, New York City, and Egypt, Nassef Sawiris owns luxurious homes, but never in Los Angeles. Sawiris, a sєcret buyer, paid $24 million for a stunning property in Trousdale Estates, a prestigious Beverly Hills area, a few months ago.

Onsi Sawiris’ youngest son, Sawiris, was raised in Cairo. His father built the Orascom Group into a multinational building, tourist, hotel, tech, and media powerhouse. A smart businessman, Nassef owns shares in some of the world’s most valuable companies and sports teams. According to Forbes, Adidas’ top stakeholder, Sawiris, is worth $7B, surpassing his two older siblings.

Sawiris may be most known in America for Kanye West. West posted a Sawiris photo on Instagram in September with the comment “Sooooo much positivity”.

Beverly Hills’ late 1960s modernist Sawiris residence is atop a Trousdale favourite ridge. The single-story house had undergone a series of catastrophic restorations by the mid-2000s, turning it into a striking Greco-Roman modernism with dozens of white columns.

Veteran real estate developer Edward “Eddie” Israel bought it in 2009. Los Angeles apartment and condo landlord Israel purchased the decrepit house for $5.1 million and commissioned architect William Hefner to refurbish it. After years, the house was leveled and expanded.

Assess the residential outcomes, yet the estate is more stylish than ever with high ceilings, glass walls, and blonde hardwood floors. It appeared on the 2017 cover of Steven Price’s out-of-print book “Trousdale Estates: Midcentury to Modern in Beverly Hills”.
