LeBron played only 24 minutes in Thursday’s 133-112 victory over the Hornets. During that span, he amassed a total of 17 points, 4 boards, and 11 assists. This performance was LeBron’s fifth double-double this season in terms of points and assists.

The Lakers were paced by an outstanding all-around performance by Anthony Davis, but several teammates scored in double figures thanks to LeBron’s assist total. Seven different Lakers players scored in double figures. Among them were Austin Reaves (16), D’Angelo Russell (16), and Rui Hachimura (17).

The Lakers, fresh off a loss to the Celtics, bounced back with this victory. Their season record improves to 17-15 after the win, putting them in eighth place in the Western Conference.
