Cristiano Ronaldo, the 38-year-old Portuguese football legend, recently shocked a singer who performed at his mother’s birthday party by presenting him with an extravagant gift worth £65,000.

 

Ronaldo, who was the top goalscorer in 2023 with 54 goals for Al-Nassr and the Portuguese national team, is currently back in Madeira, his hometown.

 

To celebrate his beloved mother Maria Dolores’ 69th birthday on New Year’s Eve, Ronaldo flew from Saudi Arabia in the middle of the night to be with her. He moved his mother to tears with an incredible present—a brand-new Porsche Cayenne. The moment was filled with joy as Ronaldo’s son, Cristianinho, presented her with the luxury car.

 

Despite the grand gesture, Ronaldo’s generosity did not end there. As part of the festivities, Ronaldo arranged a special birthday party and invited Brazilian Sertanejo singer Luã Santana to perform. The musician was left astonished when Ronaldo gifted him a luxurious Rolex watch worth £65,000 for his private concert on New Year’s Eve at the Savoy Palace in Madeira. A video capturing the singer’s reaction while opening the remarkable gift was shared on social media.

 

In the video, the singer, clearly overwhelmed, exclaims, “You didn’t do that, man. For God’s sake. You know this is my first, right? My first Rolex. What a moment! From the hands of Ronaldo.”
