The Warriors guard was seen sitting on the court, holding his left leg after tripping over his own foot, according to the incident’s video replay.

With a left hamstring strain, Gary Payton II was soon declared out of the game by the Warriors for the remainder of the evening.

The extent of the ιnjury is unknown, but given that Payton himself just returned from a 13-game absence due to a calf ailment, this is undoubtedly a worrying development.
