Kylian Mbappe Speaks Out About His Future, Responds to Real Madrid’s Ultimatum

Last week, Real Madrid issued an ultimatum to Kylian Mbappe, urging him to make a decision about his future in January. Otherwise, Los Blancos would withdraw from the race to secure the signature of the French superstar.

Real Madrid had previously pursued Mbappe in 2022 but fell short, as the forward, born in 1998, decided to remain at PSG despite being close to joining Los Blancos. Therefore, this time, the Spanish club is determined not to be left in a passive position as before.

In response to the situation, Mbappe has spoken out about his future. The player shared, “I have not made any decision about my future. I have not chosen. Nobody can say anything about my current situation. It is not a topic of discussion.”

“We have an agreement with PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi. Therefore, all parties have their rights ensured. The focus at the moment is on the club, not my future.”

Mbappe’s contract with PSG is set to expire in June 2024. According to FIFA regulations, starting from January 1st, the striker is free to negotiate with any club. Apart from Real Madrid, several other clubs in Europe, especially in the Premier League, are eager to secure the signature of the French forward.

PSG itself is doing everything possible to keep Mbappe, just as they did two years ago. However, the final decision still rests with the French star. Given Mbappe’s personality, no one knows what could happen regarding his future. This is undoubtedly a highly anticipated transfer saga.
