Chelsea and Manchester United are both interested in a Brazilian wonderkid with an exceptional name, ‘Messinho’

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona and Manchester United are among the top contenders vying for the talented youngster, Estevao Willian.

The Catalan-based newspaper reported that Barcelona is keen to sign the promising Palmeiras star, but they are facing financial constraints. Capitalizing on Barcelona’s situation, other giants such as Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Paris Saint-Germain are aggressively competing to secure the services of the player, who is affectionately known as “Messinho.”

Estevao idolizes Lionel Messi and, like the Argentine legend, his dream is to play for Barcelona. However, Mundo Deportivo stated that Barcelona’s inability to secure a contract with Estevao is solely due to their challenging economic situation.

The young winger’s current contract with his South American club includes a release clause of £52 million (€60 million), an amount that sources in Spain claim Barcelona cannot afford.

So far, Estevao has only made one appearance for the Palmeiras first team and has primarily played at the youth level.
