The season has been up and down for the Golden State Warriors. Star player Stephen Curry had a forgettable night as the team lost to the Toronto Raptors on Sunday.
Curry scored nine points in the game despite missing all nine of his three-point shots and shooting only 2-of-14 (14.3%) from the field. When asked if he was worried about the team’s continuous bаttle to establish consistency, the four-time All-Star talked about handling hardship.
Curry stated, as reported by 95.7 The Game, “The concern level grows with more nights like tonight…tough losses.” “It is obvious that I need to play better, be more effective, and figure out how to start early and give us some life. When things get tough, I tend to think on what I can do better. I’ll thus remain there and react as best I can.
The Warriors’ never-ending quest for regularity
Curry’s scoring numbers haven’t changed much this season, but the club is still having trouble as a whole because of Draymond Green’s recent ban and the troubles of Curry’s supporting cast.
The club has seen a season of ups and downs, going through consecutive winning and losing runs. A recent illustration of this occurred during the Warriors’ winning run of five games in the third week of December, following which the team unexpectedly saw a spike in losses. The Warriors had lost five of their last seven games as of Sunday.
Still, Stephen Curry has often demonstrated his ability to overcome hardship. His accomplishments are live evidence. Counting the Warriors out thus early may turn out to be a mistake in the upcoming months, since the regular season is still far from over.
