Omari Forson, a 19-year-old attacking midfielder, is part of the Manchester United squad for their Champions League match against Bayern Munich tonight.

He impressed manager Erik ten Hag during the Red Devils’ pre-season training tour in the USA, receiving playing time and even starting in a match against Leeds.

Forson had a successful season in Premier League 2, scoring 8 goals in 22 appearances. Manchester United will face Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena in Germany, a venue that can accommodate around 70,000 fans.

The last competitive meeting between the two teams ended in Bayern eliminating United from the competition in 2014. The match is scheduled to kick off at 8pm BST tonight.
