See you in a better version: Jadon Sancho Returns to Dortmund on Loan After Manchester United Spell

Jadon Sancho has completed his loan move back to Borussia Dortmund from Manchester United. The English winger, who had a challenging time at United, will return to his former club until the end of the season. Dortmund will pay a loan fee of only £3 million and contribute to his salary during this period.

Louis Saha, a former Manchester United striker, has labeled Sancho as one of the club’s “biggest transfer failures of all time.” After a highly anticipated transfer from Dortmund to United in August, Sancho struggled to make an impact and fell out of favor with manager Erik ten Hag after a disagreement.

Upon his return to Dortmund, Sancho, 23, will look to reignite his previous success. During his first spell with the German club from 2017 to 2021, he scored an impressive 50 goals in 137 games. However, his performance at Manchester United was underwhelming, with only 12 goals and six assists in 82 appearances spanning two and a half seasons.

Despite initial concerns about Sancho’s punctuality, Dortmund decided to take the risk and bring him back to the team. Currently fighting for fifth place in the Bundesliga, Dortmund believes Sancho’s return can provide a boost, even though United will continue to cover a portion of his £290,000-a-week salary.

Dortmund recently returned from their winter break in Marbella and have a Bundesliga match against Darmstadt on Saturday night, although it is unlikely that Sancho will feature in the game.
