The house that LeBron James owned in Coconut Grove was sold for $18.5M

The Coconut Grove home that LeBron James used to live in is now for sale for $18.5M.

The former Miami Heat star sold the waterfront home for $13.4M eight years ago.

The house in Coconut Grove that LeBron James used to own on the water sold for $18.5 million, which is 44% more than what it was sold for in 2021.

Jeff Conry and his wife Sherianne Conry sold the six-bedroom, eight-and-a-half-bathroom home at 3590 Crystal View Court in Miami. Jeff Conry used to run the charter plane iAero Airways. John and Darling Nielsen bought the house, which is almost 14,000 square feet.

The bank in Coconut Grove called One Park Banking is owned and run by John Lie-Nielson. He and his wife were able to pay for the deal with a $13 million loan from Bank of America.

They paid $12.8 million for the almost half-acre plot of land in May 2021. It was built in 2010.

In 2015, James sold the house for $13.4 million. He won four NBA titles and played for the Miami Heat from 2010 to 2014. LA-based NBA player bought a house in Sunny Isles Beach’s Estates at Acqualina for $9 million last year.

The Crystal View Court home is for sale and is said to have a private dock, pool, gym, spa, and three-car garage. It also has 80 feet of water on Biscayne Bay. As their real estate agent, Jason Zarco of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices EWM Realty worked with the Conrys to sell their home. Christie Cuervo of C Realty Group helped the owners.

Zarco put the house on the market for $20.5 million. Zarco wouldn’t sаy who bought it, but he did sаy that the deal was made less than six weeks after it was put on the market.

He said, “We got such a good price because there is nothing ready to move in on the open bay in the $20 million price range.” He also said that his clients are spending less.

Zarco said that Jeff Conry kept the guest house the same as it was when James owned it, but he did add King James wallpaper to the room and laser-cut the door’s sides.

In October, James Star, an investment manager, paid $18 million for a waterfront lot close by at 3323 Poinciana Avenue in Coconut Grove. Star is married to a Chicagoan from the rich Crown family. It cost more than 200% more than what it sold for two years ago to buy that house.
