First class: Overwhelmed with Celtics outfits on jet to Toronto
Jaylen Brown Uncertain for Monday’s Celtics-Raptors Game
In Ime Udoka’s return to TD Garden on Saturday night, the Boston Celtics defeated the Houston Rockets 145-113.
The victory raises their NBA record to 30-9. They were already in first place before the game. Additionally, they have improved upon the best home start to a season for the franchise, going 19-0.
After the game, Joe Mazzulla stressed how important it is that the Celtics not let themselves get too giddy with success or gloomy with defeat. That means taking the positives from Saturday’s game and applying them to Monday’s game against the Raptors so they can keep their title hopes alive.
The Bruins might not even start Jaylen Brown that game. His right knee hyperextension ιnjury, which he suffered in Saturday’s victory, has the squad listing him as questionable for their game against the Canadians.
But that didn’t stop the two-time All-Star from finishing with 32 points, 6 boards, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks.
The game is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. EST on Monday. In the Before, during, and after the game, the Celtics will provide game-related information. If you want to know what happens before, during, and after a game, follow @BobbyKrivitsky on Twitter.
