Davis caught a pass from D’Angelo Russell and slammed down a massive dunk as Chet Holmgren tried to defend the rim
The Oklahoma City Thunder and Los Angeles Lakers met in California on Monday night.
After playing 38 minutes and shooting 9/17 from the field, Anthony Davis led the Lakers with 27 points, 15 rebounds, five assists, two steals, and two blocks. The Lakers won the game 112-105.
A tremendous highlight from Davis during the second half went viral on social media.
Chet Holmgren attempted to guard the rim, but Davis was able to grab a ball from D’Angelo Russell and finish with a huge dunk.
Because Holmgren is among the league’s greatest rim protectors and averaged 2.5 blocks per game going into the game, the dunk is even more amazing.
