Against the Mavericks, Jaylen Brown Made Boston Celtics History

The Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks are playing in Texas on Monday night.

Jaylen Brown is currently participating in his 511th career game, which ties him with Jim Loscutoff for 24th place on the Celtics’ all-time games played record.

Rajon Rondo (527), who will pass after Loscutoff, will be the next player for Brown.

Brown has averaged 22.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.1 steals, and a 49.0% field goal percentage and 36.0% three-point percentage through 40 games going into this one.

With a 33-10 record through 43 games, the Celtics are the top seed in the Eastern Conference thanks to his outstanding start to the season.

They defeated the Houston Rockets 116-107, and now they are playing the second night of a back-to-back.

Brown shot 6/14 from the field and 1/3 from three-point range while recording 13 points, 11 rebounds, ten assists, and three steals in 31 minutes of action.

The Celtics will travel to Miami, Florida, on Thursday night to play Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat after the Mavs.

Brown, who entered the league as the third choice in the 2016 NBA Draft, is currently in his eighth season (all with the Celtics).

He has contributed to the team’s five Eastern Conference Finals appearances and their 2022 NBA Finals appearance.

18.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.1 steals per game are his career averages.
