After months of negotiations, Eder Militao finally agreed to sign a new contract lasting until June 2028 with Real Madrid . Militao joined Real Madrid in 2019, at the age of 21, and in five seasons with Los Blancos, he became one of the best centre-backs in the world.
Militao officially renewed his contract with Real Madrid.
He has won 9 titles with Real Madrid: 1 Champions League, 1 Club World Cup, 1 European Super Cup, 2 Spanish National Championships, 1 Copa del Rey and 3 Spanish Super Cups.
Currently, Militao is still recovering from the ACL tear he suffered in the first game of the season. Even so, the club still shows confidence and belief in him returning to his original level after recovery. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, this Militao contract has a break clause worth 1 billion pounds.
Real Madrid will have four La Liga matches, including a home match against Girona on February 10, before traveling to RB Leipzig for the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 on February 13.
