LeBron James has managed to spend time with his family during the Los Angeles Lakers’ six-game homestand, despite his busy travel schedule.
.
Using the captiоn, “She’s ιиѕαиє!” James shared the heartwarming mоments he captured оn Instagram stоries with his daughter Zhuri during a special lunch date.
The former Los Angeles Lakers star laughed heartily as his daughter methodically stacked French fries on top of one another. He wrote “My lunch date” as the caption for his Instagram photo, along with the boomerang.LeBron James was out from the Lakers’ most recent game due to soreness in his left ankle, and the team lost 116-127 to the Clippers. The Lakers lost on the road for the fourth time in a row, dropping to 22–23.

In their next game, the Lakers will play the 21–24 Chicago Bulls.
For the record, Kevin Durant has made the NBA All-Star team 14 times, compared to 20 times for LeBron James.
LeBron James has joined yet another select group and will be joined by several well-known faces at this year’s NBA All-Star Game.
When the league released the results of this season’s starter voting on Thursday night, James was selected for the 20th time to the All-Star team, where he also began every game. Furthermore, James has made 20 appearances as an All-Star, more than any other player in NBA history. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar set a scoring record previous season, but James smashed it after Abdul-Jabbar was selected 19 times.
This year’s tournament will take place in Indianapolis on February 18.
Kevin Durant of Phoenix, Nikola Jokic of Denver, Luka Doncic of Dallas, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of Oklahoma City will join James in the starting lineup. This season, Gilgeous-Alexander led the league in 30-point games and defeated Stephen Curry, the starting center for Golden State, to claim the final backcourt berth in the Western Conference. With his fourteenth selection, Durant now stands among the select eleven players in NBA history to have achieved this achievement.
The Milwaukee Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Boston Celtics’ Jayson Tatum, and the Philadelphia 76ers’ Joel Embiid—the league’s top scorer, two-time defending champion, and MVP—will make up the Eastern Conference frontcourt. After scoring an All-Star Game record-𝖇𝖗𝖊𝖆𝖐𝖎𝖓𝖌 55 points in the game in Salt Lake City the previous year, Tatum was named the game’s Most Valuable Player (MVP).
Tyrese Haliburton of Indiana and Damian Lillard of Milwaukee are the Eastern Conference’s starting guards when they play at home.
“Don’t you think you should always be thankful?” Before Boston’s match in Miami, Tatum disclosed the starting lineup in an interview with TNT. Given that there are 450 players in the league, it gives me great joy that the fans consistently cast their votes for me. It’s not a given in my opinion. It’s very incredible that I can finally achieve a longstanding dream of mine and go to All-Star weekend in person.
Curry, Jaylen Brown of Boston, Jalen Brunson of New York, Trae Young of Atlanta, Donovan Mitchell of Cleveland, Bam Adebayo of Miami, Anthony Davis of the Los Angeles Lakers, De’Aaron Fox of Sacramento, Devin Booker of Phoenix, Kawhi Leonard of the Los Angeles Clippers, Tyrese Maxey of Philadelphia, and Anthony Edwards of Minnesota were among the prominent players who were left out of the starting lineup.
The starting lineup is determined by a system in which players vote 25%, fans vote 50%, and a panel of NBA writers and broadcasters votes the remaining 25%.
The league’s head coaches will cast their votes and the reserve player list will be made public on February 1. Commissioner Adam Silver has the authority to add players to the rosters in the event that they are hurt or otherwise unable to play.
Few players in the major American professional sports have made it onto the All-Star team or something similar for twenty consecutive seasons. James is a pioneer in the NBA when it comes to that. He is listed with three baseball greats, Stan Musial, Hank Aaron, and Willie Mays, as well as hockey great Gordie Howe.
Howe appeared in twenty-three NHL All-Star Games. For twenty-one different seasons, Aaron, Mays, and Musial were all selected for the MLB All-Star game. Mickey Mantle was chosen to play in 20 baseball All-Star games over the course of 16 seasons. There were even two All-Star events in some seasons.
The East and West will face off in this year’s All-Star Game, following in the footsteps of the first sixty-six NBA midseason classics. James captained the team six times, Antetokounmpo the other three times, Durant the second two times, and Curry the one time. The top vote-getters from each conference served as captains and selected their teams in the most recent six.
Additionally, the “target score” paradigm is no longer in effect. In the four prior All-Star Games, the fourth quarter was untimed. These games were won by whichever team, after three quarters plus 24 points (a number honoring Kobe Bryant’s final jersey number), was able to score the same amount as the leading team. This year’s game will be standard; there won’t be any overtime or unique rules.
League executives said prior to the start of the season that they had been stressing to players the need of raising the bar for the All-Star Game. The lowest attendance for the game since SportsMediaWatch started collecting statistics was recorded last year, with 4.6 million viewers on TNT and TBS on average.
Just before the season started, NBA Executive Vice President and Head of Basketball Operations Joe Dumars said, “I think people expect to see some competition when you turn on an NBA All-Star Game.”
