Reportedly, Celtics and Suns Are Interested In Rockets Veteran

With little over a week remaining in the NBA regular season, clubs are frantically trying to strengthen their rosters for the upcoming playoff run.

Time is running out for NBA clubs to evaluate their rosters and make moves before the trade deadline on February 8. Top teams in the league are actively seeking possible upgrades in the last week of the trading market.

Two teams may be in a bidding wΠ°r to acquire forward Jae’Sean Tate from the Houston Rockets via NBA Central, according to The Athletic’s Sam Amick, Shams Charania, and Kelly Iko. The Suns and the Celtics would be involved.

According to @TheAthletic, Jae’Sean Tate is attracting interest from the Boston Celtics and the Phoenix Suns.

On January 31, 2024, NBACentral tweeted: “TheDunkCentral”

The Celtics are currently the top NBA team overall, so there’s no need for Brad Stevens and company to make major personnel adjustments to improve their future. Consequently, this possible move would be a wise one.

Phoenix has been playing well as of late, and they are currently seven games ahead of the team’s playoff seed, despite a shaky start to the season when it was unclear whether the trio of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal would be effective.500, with a 27–20 record and sixth-place Western Conference position.

However, with no major changes to their preparations as the deadline approaches, Frank Vogel’s club will aim to keep pumping out points going forward.

Currently, Tate is averaging 4.7 points and 3.4 rebounds per game in 43 games this season with the Rockets.
