Joining LeBron James and Anthony Davis as 2024 NBA All-Stars

With an impressive point, rebound, and assist average of 24.9 per game, Davis is having a career year with the purple and gold. Playing in all but four games this season, he has dispelled any doubts about his health. Defensively, he has also reached new heights, solidifying his position as a top contender for the award.

On Sunday, February 18, in Indianapolis, he will be joined by LeBron James, who was chosen All-Star for a record-setting twentieth time, as the two Lakers representing the squad. They haven’t played together since the All-Star Game of 2021, yet this will be their third time for the Lakers.

While viewing this year’s All-Star game, keep in mind that there are a few major changes.

The game’s score system will be more conventional once again. This year’s All-Star game will follow a different format with four 12-minute quarters and a final winner announced at the conclusion. In the previous year, the fourth quarter was not timed and the team with the highest total scoring after three quarters plus 24 points was declared the winner.

Team Giannis and Team LeBron are no longer with us, but we do have captains. James and Giannis Antetokounmpo have been named conference captains in recognition of their record-setting vote totals. Also, there are no teams to choose from. It’s the traditional All-Star game pitting the East against the West.
