Vanessa just posted photos of the newest Nike Kobe 4 PE in the ‘Vino’ colorway on her social media account, which is inspired by wine. She uploaded the photos to her Instagram with the following caption:

“#VinoMamba #PE 🍷 🍇”

Although they have not yet been released, the most recent sneak peek of the Vino PE sneakers has been posted. The Nike Kobe 4 will debut as part of the Kobe Bryant signature collection.

On top of that, Vanessa Bryant has shared a couple photos of a different pair—these Kobe 6 PEs in the Los Angeles Dodgers style. The shoes will include a baseball-inspired tongue and the Los Angeles Dodgers’ distinctive hue of blue. The Dodgers-themed Kobe 6 PE will not be available for purchаse. But Kobe Bryant’s passion and support for the Dodgers will be on display in the shoes.

Kobe Bryant-themed wines and others have their trademarks protected by Vanessa Bryant.

The current head of Kobe Bryant, LLC, Vanessa Bryant, has submitted four trademark applications, hinting at a potential foray into the wine business under the nаme of the late NBA great. Some of the terms included in the trademark applications dated November 5, 2021, are “Mamba Vino,” “Mamba Vino 2024,” “Mamba Vino 8,” and “Mamba Vino 24.”

Following a prior trademark application that covered a wide range of topics—including digital collectibles, websites, training camps, broadcasting platforms, podcasts, television shows, movies, documentaries, music, sports cards, food and drink containers, t-shirts, and more—these filings demonstrate Vanessa’s continued expansion of the Bryant brand.

Symbolizing his game’s perceived improvement with age and paying homage to the jersey numbers he wore during his career—8 and 24—both of which are retired by the Lakers and honored in the rafters at the Staples Center—the names of the wines are meaningful to Kobe Bryant’s legacy. They incorporate his well-known “vino” nickname.

But as we can see from the most recent reports, Vanessa had also filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on March 10, 2021, to get the trademark for “Mamba and Mambacita,” on apparel and footwear.

It should be noted that the Bryant family may have other motives for acquiring these rights besides development, like Tom Brady did with the “Tom Terrific” brand.

“Mamba Sports Academy,” “Mambacita,” “Lady Mambas,” and “Lil Mambas” are among the trademarks that the Bryant estate has been pursuing since the unfortunate deaths of Kobe and Gianna in January 2020.
