With 0.7 seconds remaining, Stephen Curry drained a 3-pointer to lead the Golden State Warriors to a 113–112 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night, their sixth win in their previous seven games.

With 3.3 seconds remaining and the Warriors behind 112-110, Curry stole Brandin Podziemski’s inbounds pass, spun, and drained a 33-footer to record his ninth 3-pointer of the game. His score was thirty.

With 32 points, Devin Booker led Phoenix, followed by Kevin Durant with 24. Following Curry’s three-pointer, the Suns had two opportunities, but Booker was fouled under the basket on the first and Durant was unable to make a shot on the second.

Golden State returned to.500 for the first time since December 25th by avoiding being swept by the Suns in the season series. In addition, the Warriors are back in the postseason race. They moved up to the 10th place in the West, one spot above of Utah, in advance of their Monday night matchup with the Jazz.

In the crunch, the two sides traded blows, with neither team building much of a lead. At the start of the fourth quarter, the Warriors were ahead 84–82. A turnaround jumper by Booker with 35 seconds left gave the Suns a 112-110 advantage.

Golden State added 21 more points from Jonathan Kuminga. With 15 points, 9 assists, and 7 rebounds, Draymond Green had a great game.

After a 12-0 run by the Suns, capped by a Durant three-pointer, Golden State was up 47–40 in the second quarter. After Kuminga led Golden State with 13 points at the half, the Warriors responded with a run of their own, leading 59-58 at the half.

After joining the Suns at the trade deadline, Royce O’Neale scored three points in his debut. Phoenix’s other deadline addition, David Roddy, was not in action.

For the Warriors, Gary Payton made his comeback after missing the previous 16 games due to a left hamstring strain. Eleven points were his total.

After making a layup in the third quarter, Green—who had avoided technical fouls since his return from an indefinite suspension in January—got a technical penalty while f𝔦𝔤𝔥𝔱𝔦𝔫𝔤 for a foul call.

In addition, Green taunted and insulted Suns center Jusuf Nurkic during the game. Green’s b𝔩𝔬𝔴 to Nurkic’s face on December 12 resulted in Green’s ban.
