NBA fans think Anthony Davis has ‘bulked up’ during the offseason, prompting him to show off a radical physical transformation

The eight-time NBA All-Star’s workout photos were posted to social media by the Lakers earlier this week.

Davis was shown working out with weights and performing pull-ups in the pictures.

The former first overall pick changed his hairdo dramatically from the previous year by letting it grow out and going unbraided.

His new physique, however, gained him even more online notoriety.

Davis’s biceps and arms seemed considerably fuller and more defined, and many NBA fans noticed this.

“AD done bulked,” one user commented.

“Bro is putting on some serious muscle,” said one tweet.

“AD has been working hard all summer,” a third person chimed in.

Someone else added, “Getting swole. It’s appealing to me. Gain some weight and keep it on for a while.Be able to tolerate increased physical contact. We are approaching the Alpha!

In the 2022-23 season, Davis was reported at 6 feet 10 inches tall, with a weight of 253 pounds.

Lakers supporters are probably hoping their superstar’s newfound girth would make him more bulletproof.

Averaging 25.9 points, 12.5 rebounds, 1.1 steals, and 2.0 blocks per game, he was in incredible shape last year.

Davis again battled back and foot injuries that prevented him from playing in more than 60 games during the regular season.

The Illinois native’s inability to maintain his health since winning the NBA title in 2020 with the Lakers is a major factor in his lack of recognition as an All-Star or All-NBA performer since 2021.

Anthony Davis says he wants to play all 82 games this season — how long until he sits?

Anthony Davis, a big man for the Los Angeles Lakers, is pumped up and ready to jam, and he wants to share the spotlight and the spotlight smoke with the Denver Nuggets and NBA Finals MVP Nikola Joki. In addition, Davis says he plans to suit up for 82 contests this year. Neither of those scenarios bode well for the future of the eight-time All-Star.

“There was a great deal of chitchat. We know you guys won, but me and Bron have been talking, and we seriously can’t wait.Davis is tired of hearing about and celebrating the Nuggets’ championship after hearing so much from LeBron James and the other Lakers after their own triumph a few years ago. The trutҺ is, he is limited to beating Jоker and company in a basketball game when it really matters. It sounds like there will be a lot of trаsh talking and jawing on the opening night on Oct. 24.

Ultimately, this comes down to Joki outperforming Davis and usurping what was formerly thought to be Davis’ place atop the NBA food chain. In 2012, when Davis first entered the NBA after playing for Kentucky, he was widely regarded as the game’s next great thing. After being selected in the second round, Jоker quietly made his way into the NBA.

Joki has now become a two-time league MVP, NBA champion, and Finals MVP in less than a decade. Davis has a ring as well, but he wasn’t seen as the engine that propelled the Lakers to glory and he hasn’t even come close to MVP awards, mainly because of his health. Davis may have only Kevin Garnett’s support if he wants to win MVP, but we’ll see how that pans out. Considering AD’s ιnjury history, the expectation that he will play in all 82 games this season seems ambitious. Though it would be fantastic if he could, he’s never managed to do so, not even in New Orleans.

Davis played in 75 games for the Pelicans in 2016–17 and 75 games again in 2017–18, the closest he has come to an entire NBA season. AD’s average number of games played per season over the past three years is 56. Only in his first year (19-20) with the Lakers, when they took a four-month break due to the pаndemic, did he come close to playing 82 games for the team. Los Angeles won the championship in Orlando despite playing in only 71 games.Davis can brag about his offseason work and want to smoke with Jоker all he wants, but in the end, it all boils down to performance. When Davis is on the court, he often contributes. The issue is that the Lakers haven’t given him enough playing time in recent seasons. Last year, only the most ardent of fans believed they could win the Western Conference. Davis needs to prove himself on the court once again and show the world why he is so highly regarded.
