Rasmus Hojlund continues incredible goal run, making Premier League history in front of Harry Styles

21-year-old striker Rasmus Hojlund, who was signed by Manchester United for £72 million ($91m) in the summer of 2023, initially struggled to score in domestic competitions. His first five goals for United came in the Champions League.

However, on December 26, he opened his Premier League account against Aston Villa and hasn’t stopped scoring since then. In the beginning of 2024, he found the back of the net against Tottenham, Wolves, West Ham, and Aston Villa.

During a recent match against Luton, Hojlund made history as the youngest player to score in six consecutive Premier League games, achieving this feat at the age of 21 years and 14 days. He surpassed Newcastle midfielder Joe Willock’s record of 21 years and 272 days. Notably, Hojlund achieved this milestone at a younger age than Erling Haaland, Romelu Lukaku, and Thierry Henry, who all accomplished the same at 22 years old.

With confidence soaring, Hojlund’s first goal against Luton, witnessed by Harry Styles in the stands, involved a sprint towards the goal, evading Thomas Kaminski, and calmly slotting the ball into an empty net.

He then displayed exceptional reflexes and control by redirecting an errant volley from Alejandro Garnacho into the net using his chest.
